The University System of Maryland Board of Regents has named Darryll J. Pines, PhD, the 34th president of the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Pines is dean of the university’s A. James Clark School of Engineering and the Nariman Farvardin Professor of Aerospace Engineering.

It encompasses residence halls and dining halls, clubs and sports, fraternities and sororities, campus events and performances, and countless off-campus destinations. Summer Session 2020 classes meet June 1-August 21. All Summer Session I courses will be offered in an online format. A decision on Summer Session II course formats will be announced at a later date.
